The Rainbow Celery Experiment
In Science we attempted the Rainbow Celery experiment. This is what we did, we gathered the materials which were fresh celery sticks, food colouring, clear plastic cups and water. In each plastic cup we poured some water in. Then we added a couple of food colouring drops of choice. After that, we tore off a stick of celery and popped it into the now food coloured water. We observed the celery stick over the course of a few days, watching to see if the celery stick changes in anyway. Some leaves on the celery sticks had a tint of colour from the food coloured water.
Science Week:
This week during Science Week, Ms O'Donoghue's brother Jack came in to talk to use about sound engineering. Jack went through all the different type of equipment he uses to record sounds effects and music.
Sponsored Walk:
Today was our fantastic Sponsored Walk. We always look forward to this every year. Today we had the most beautiful day we could have hoped for for our walk. We had a lovely walk down to Finsbury park, where we got to play in the new playground for some time before we walked back to school. It was an enjoyable day and we had a lot of fun.
Our Autumnal Art:
We have created a wonderful, windy autumnal board of autumn trees, gusts of wind and falling leaves scattered everywhere. We are extremely proud of our work.
